Being a State Rep is no joke! It requires a lot of ‘home work’ in preparation for introducing bills, or for considering bills to be voted on in committee. Basically volunteers, State Reps don’t have legislative aides, and must do much of their own field work and research while somehow staying organized. Shown is Rep. Aylward’s ‘home office’ which is where the magic happens!  

When not at home or in State Rep mode, Aylward stops traffic in Boscawen to protect a large snapping turtle attempting to cross busy Rt. 4, that attracted a traveler who donned heavy duty gloves to transport the dangerous animal to its intended destination.
